What this policy covers

This policy covers the public PublishRank documentation and marketing website. It does not automatically describe data processed by a WordPress installation using the plugin, your hosting provider, or an optional third-party integration. Publishers are responsible for reviewing their own site’s data practices.

Website visits

The current website is a static site. It does not provide visitor accounts, payment processing, newsletter registration, or a contact submission form. Its site code does not add analytics trackers, advertising trackers, or browser-based visitor profiles.

Netlify hosts and delivers this website. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, device or browser information, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the service. Provider processing and retention are governed by the provider’s own practices; this page does not promise a specific hosting-log retention period.

When you email the developer

If you contact the developer, your email address, message, and any attachments are processed to read and respond to your enquiry, diagnose the reported issue, and maintain relevant correspondence. Email is handled through the email provider used by the contact address.

Provide only information needed for your request. Do not send passwords, API keys, access tokens, private reader data, or unpublished confidential stories. Relevant correspondence may be retained while a request or follow-up remains useful; no fixed retention period is represented here.

Third-party services and links

Illustrative images are delivered from Unsplash’s image CDN. Your browser requests these images directly, so Unsplash may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser information, and referrer. When the optional Unsplash API integration is configured, a Netlify Function retrieves public photo metadata without sending visitor account information or a visitor IP address in its API payload. API credentials stay server-side. Photo credits link to Unsplash and photographer pages, which have their own policies.

Links to WordPress, Google validation tools, the developer’s website, and other resources take you to separate services with their own policies. This website does not control their collection practices. The site code does not sell visitor information or transmit it to an advertising integration.

Hosting and email providers may process information in countries other than your own. Consult the relevant provider documentation for details about those services.

Your choices and requests

You can browse the public documentation without creating an account. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information supplied in an email enquiry, contact the developer. Requests are considered according to applicable requirements and any legitimate need to preserve relevant records.

No website or email channel can guarantee absolute security. Contact the developer with a privacy concern and avoid including sensitive material in the initial message.

Policy changes

This page reflects the current website implementation. If accounts, analytics, forms, or other data-processing features are introduced, the policy should be updated before those features are used. Material updates are identified through the effective date on this page.
